Mission Statement
Our Mission
The mission statement of this association shall be to maintain or exceed current standards of School Nursing practice by providing regular collaborative educational opportunities, sharing information about current legislative initiatives affecting issues in school health, and by encouraging membership in the State and National School Nurses Associations.
Eligibility
School Nurses engaged in school nursing in Union County are eligible for membership.

Union County School Nurses Association has 3 annual dinner meetings in the fall, winter, and spring of each school year. Additional educational opportunities are provided on current issues in school nursing and health throughout the school year either through Zoom or in person. Every year the Union County School Nurses Association sponsors scholarships to two Union County high school seniors who plan on pursuing careers in nursing. Please see the scholarships tab at the top of the page to find the application form.

School nursing is a labor of love. Each year, the Union County Nurses Association would like to recognize a Union County school nurse for going above and beyond their duties and recognize their excellent service. Recognition for Retiring Members
